Women's Health and Reproductive Rights

Everyone deserves the right to make their own health and family planning decisions without fear of legal retribution. As a strong supporter of reproductive rights and a member of the House Pro-Choice Caucus,  I am committed to ensuring that individuals have access to the care they need and that they are empowered to make their own healthcare decisions. I believe that Congress must enshrine this right into law and pass legislation that guarantees accessible and affordable reproductive care for women.  

After the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, states across the country adopted legislation that endangers women’s lives, takes away their right to make their own health choices, and targets medical professionals who provide these essential services. I am proud to be an original cosponsor of the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would enshrine the principles of Roe v. Wade into law and protect the rights of women all over the country.
