Every American has a right to quality and affordable healthcare.
Under the Trump Administration, health care is under attack for millions of Americans. House Republicans passed the largest cut to Medicaid and Affordable Care Act (ACA), protections in history, and millions of children, seniors, and people with disabilities will lose access to healthcare.
As a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, I am fighting back alongside House to protect Medicaid and defend the care millions rely on. We should be building on landmark legislation like the ACA which took critical steps to lower costs, expand coverage for underinsured and uninsured populations, and ensure Americans cannot be denied coverage due to pre-existing conditions, instead of making it harder for people to access care. I am committed to finding effective solutions to our nation’s healthcare challenges that prioritize patients and lower costs for American families.
