Climate Change and Environmental Justice

Our children and grandchildren deserve a healthy and livable planet. I believe that our future depends on bold action to limit global warming and cut greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030. As a Member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, I’m fighting for a clean energy economy that generates good-paying jobs, reduces our dependence on extractive industries, and ensures that environmental justice communities share in and lead our transition to net-zero. We must build on the success of the Inflation Reduction Act and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to make America a global leader in the clean energy of the future.
