Homeland Security

As a member of the House Committee on Homeland Security, I am focused on working with my colleagues to bolster counterterrorism efforts, advocating for resources to keep Americans safe from threats, and ensuring effective prevention measures before – and robust emergency response after – natural disasters. As a member of the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Protection, I am  working to keep our nation ahead of the curve when it comes to the pervasive issue of cybersecurity and ensuring that our country is prepared and protected against foreign state actors, criminal organizations, and scammers who engaged in cyberattacks on critical infrastructure and ransomware attacks against American individuals and businesses.
