"However, I had serious concerns about yesterday's vote given my complete distrust of House Republicans and the Trump Administration. In particular, Republicans used language that mirrors prior authorizations for military force and scheduled the vote to coincide with the War Powers Resolution.

made clear that these concerns were valid - claiming that the House voted ‘overwhelmingly’ to support Trump’s war in Iran. These underhanded and dishonest tactics are why I voted no.”
