Youth Advisory Council Application

We are excited to announce the second year of Congressman Menendez's Youth Advisory Council, an impactful initiative for high school students across the Eighth Congressional District.

This is a unique opportunity for students to provide their input on the key issues impacting their future, while also learning about the work we do in Congress.

Youth Advisory Council student participants will:

  • Meet with Congressman Menendez to learn about our work in the House of Representatives;
  • Provide input on issues that impact them, including climate change, gun violence prevention, immigration, and affordability in higher education;
  • Sit down with our staff to learn about Congressional processes and resources; and
  • Present a final project that encompasses their vision on a particular issue and what they have learned during their time on the Council.

Applications are due by Friday, December 13th, 2024.
