NJ-08 Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27) Appropriations Request Forms
Programmatic and Language Request Form: Available HERE
CPF Submissions: See below for instructions.
Congressman Rob Menendez is currently accepting appropriations requests for FY27.
The final deadline to submit all FY27 CPF requests to our office is Friday, March 6, 2026. However, please note that submitting projects earlier provides more time to correct any eligibility issues with a project before the submission deadline.
Our biggest priority is serving the people of New Jersey’s 8th Congressional District, including by ensuring federal funds meet NJ-08 needs and support projects that benefit our communities. This page is designed to ensure our constituents have a place and the resources needed to submit FY27 appropriations requests for consideration.
The Appropriations Committee has released preliminary guidance for all FY27 requests.
For FY27, you can submit (i) programmatic, (ii) language, and (iii) Community Project Funding (CPF) requests.
Programmatic requests: A programmatic request is a request to fund a federal agency or program at a specified level.
Example: Provide $6,000,000,000 for the Transit Security Grant Program.
Language requests: A language request is a request for bill or report language that does not direct funding to a particular entity but encourages, urges, or directs some type of action by an agency.
Example: The Committee directs the Environmental Protection Agency to submit to the appropriate congressional committees a report on efforts to clean up polluted waterways.
CPF requests: CPF requests are applications from state or local government entities or 501(c)(3) nonprofits for project-specific funding through one of the eligible Appropriations Subcommittee accounts. Please note that not all accounts will permit submissions from nonprofits, and applicants should review eligibility standards closely. CPF applications must adhere to strict eligibility standards.
Please review the links and information below in order to submit your FY27 appropriations requests.
