Congressman Rob Menendez Sworn Into the 119th Congress

WASHINGTON, D.C - Today, Congressman Rob Menendez was sworn into the 119th Congress, beginning his second term representing New Jersey’s Eighth Congressional District. He was joined at the ceremony by his wife, children, and extended family.  

 

“It is a tremendous honor to serve the Eighth District, a community that I’ve called home my entire life,” said Congressman Rob Menendez. “I’m proud of the results we produced in our first term, from delivering critical federal funds to support public transportation and infrastructure resiliency to working every day to make life more affordable for our constituents. As we enter our second term, I’m excited to build on this progress and continue to address the challenges ahead.” 

 

Congressman Menendez was first elected to Congress in 2022 and served on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and the House Committee on Homeland Security in the 118th Congress. The grandson of Cuban immigrants, he is a proud member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and will serve as the Caucus Vice Chair of Policy in the 119th Congress.
