Congressman Rob Menendez Celebrates and Addresses New Citizens at Naturalization Ceremony
NEWARK, NJ – Today, Congressman Rob Menendez participated in a naturalization ceremony in Newark that celebrated 90 new Americans from around the globe, delivering remarks to celebrate the completion of their journey toward citizenship.

Congressman Menendez joined U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Newark District Director John E. Thompson for a naturalization ceremony that marks the pinnacle of the U.S. immigration process for those pursuing American citizenship. After meeting residency and language requirements and completing the application, successful applicants are invited to this ceremony to celebrate their new lives as American citizens.
